This procedure most often applies to private residents within the EU or companies within the same country of clearance. After payment of import duties, you can freely dispose over imported goods or vehicles.

Fiscal clearance

Target group
For companies located outside the importing country, in the European Union, this procedure is the most common. After payment of customs duties, the importing tax authority monitors the payment of VAT. If the importer uses the goods himself, ie. a construction machine or company vehicle, no additional fees will apply. If the goods are resold, the sale tax is payable to the local tax authority.

Relocation Procedure

What is it about?
Residents from outside the EU can benefit from duty exemption in case of relocation into the EU. The decision on the exemption of goods from customs duty is always made by the destination country customs authority. E.g. for a relocation to Germany only a German customs office can process this customs clearance.
